Chiara Calov, MBA

Senior Program Coordinator

Chiara Calov is a Senior Program Coordinator at the NYU McSilver Institute, where she supports statewide behavioral health transformation efforts on the Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC) team. In her role, she oversees stakeholder communications, manages high-impact deliverables, and facilitates the development of tools and trainings that translate complex policy and regulatory guidance into actionable resources for providers across New York State.

Chiara brings a strong foundation in strategic communication and systems thinking, collaborating closely with government partners, healthcare leaders, and technical experts to ensure alignment, clarity, and measurable outcomes. She excels at bridging the gap between technical content and real-world implementation, skills that reflect her broader interest in the financial and structural levers that shape healthcare access and equity.

Chiara holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, where she concentrated in Healthcare and Corporate Finance. She is particularly interested in how new technologies and capital flows shape the design and delivery of social infrastructure. She continues to explore how innovations in digital assets, alongside opportunities in emerging markets can be leveraged to build more equitable, sustainable solutions.

Beyond her professional work, Chiara is deeply committed to education, both her own and that of others, around blockchain and digital assets. She has built a strong foundation in the space through graduate coursework and ongoing independent research. What drives her most is the opportunity to make digital assets more accessible, especially for underrepresented communities. She is passionate about increasing participation among women in the space and believes in building trust through clarity, transparency, and inclusion in the evolving financial landscape.
